Sample Resume for Teens Job Hunting

Once teenagers turn 16 years old, many mark their birthdays with a mission to find a job. Teenagers nowadays see the importance of earning their own money so they can buy the things they want and save it for the rainy days.

Whether they go babysitting, work part time at McDonald’s or mow their neighbor’s lawn, there are plenty of ways to earn some extra dough. Teenagers take on a job for a number of reasons: to help their family, to buy the things that they want, to go on dates, or simply to be responsible. There is new found freedom that comes with a new job—you can buy a new video game, an iPod, or watch a movie without the need to ask your parents to give you money. You will need a few things though when applying for a part time job: a sample resume, hygiene, clean clothes, a great attitude—and don’t forget to bring your self confidence during the interview.
